The independently tested SCIATICURE™ Acupressure Wrap is the quick-start to back pain relief and to getting your life on track - relieving both short term lumbar pain and chronic sciatic pain.

How Sciaticure™ technology works: When you wear a Sciaticure™ Acupressure wrap just under the knee, the integrated pad places gentle pressure at the top of the calf, breaking the pain signal along the Sciatic Nerve. And, worn during the day, the pressure continues its work invisibly under clothing, so you can just get on with life. Physiotherapists certify this treatment effective in back and sciatic pain relief.

Who can benefit?  Anyone suffering from the discomfort and agony felt from sciatica, both down the leg and upward along the spine to the shoulder. It can also relieve pain for lumbar pain sufferers by relaxing the muscles around the area.

How does it work?

The Sciaticure Biofeedbac acupressure wrap, is placed below the knee and is proven to halt the pain reflex in the sciatic nerve, by breaking the link between sciatic pressure points - giving you instant relief from sciatic pain, lumbar pain and related discomfort!

“I worked closely with Global Product in the UK to develop the world’s first Biofeedbac™ health system, which utilises the body’s own automated awareness and re-educates muscles to perform at their best.”

A UK leader in spinal technology, Prof. Pope is in the top 53 of the World’s most influential scientists

BioFeedBac is the product of a lifetime’s work of the highly respected scientist and engineer, Professor Malcolm Pope. Malcolm has been leading the way in biomedical engineering for over 50 years, collecting many top awards for his work along the way. He’s recognised as a world authority on spinal problems and is ranked as one of the top 60 most influential scientists in the world today. He has held a number of prestigious positions in the UK and the US, including:

  • Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery  (University of Vermont, US)
  • Professor of Mechanical Engineering  (University of Vermont, US)
  • Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopaedic Surgery (University of Iowa, US)
  • Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Dentistry (University of Aberdeen, UK).

Malcolm continues to be an extremely active in his field and is currently Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and the RSM’s Sub Dean for Scotland. He is also an Honorary Consultant in Biomedical Physics and Bioengineering for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The Biofeedbac back support belt is the result of many decades of detailed research and development by Malcolm and his dedicated team. His work on this brings together his interest and expertise in mechanical engineering and medicine. With his expert insights into the biomechanics of the spine it is no surprise that he developed the revolutionary concept of applying engineering based solutions to back problems. Malcolm is rather modest about his achievements but he has written more than ten specialist books on the subject of spinal disorders and his work has been featured in over 350 respected medical and engineering journals. He has also been honoured for his groundbreaking research and pioneering practical work in biomechanics, with awards including the Kappa Delta Award from the Royal Academy of Engineering, the American Arthroscopy Association’s O’Connor Award and the American Society of Biomechanics’ Borelli Award. In 2003 he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award from the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine. Lecturing around the world is now a major part of his life, although Malcolm enjoys mentoring and encouraging the students who will provide the next generation of research and practical applications in biomechanics.
